FAQS (INFORMATION STATEMENT)
This statement is provided for your information. It is not the loan contract itself. The FAQS and answers below will help you understand your rights and obligations before entering into a loan contract. If you have any questions or concerns after reading this statement please contact Casheezi, seek legal advice, or contact the relevant government regulatory authority.
1. How do I get details of my loan contract?
Before issuing you a loan, Casheezi will give you a pre-contractual statement containing facts about your contract. You should read these FAQS and the pre-contractual statement prior to entering into a loan contract, or making an offer to enter into a loan contract.
2. How can I get a copy of the actual loan contract?
If you choose to enter into a loan contract with Casheezi, we will give you a copy of the signed, completed contract. If at any time you want another copy just contact us and ask. We keep copies of all contracts and will give you a copy within 14 days of your request.
3. Can I terminate the contract?
You can terminate your loan contract with Casheezi provided that you have not yet received credit (money) under the contract. Just contact us. You will still be liable to pay any fees or charges incurred before you terminate the contract.
4. Can I pay my loan contract out early?
Of course you can. Just contact us to get the payout figure on the day you wish to end your contract and make the payment in full.
5. How can I find out the pay-out figure?
Just contact us and we will give you the payout figure for the day you wish to pay it out. If you want to know how the fee is made up just tell us. We will give you all the details you are after straight away, or at worst, by the next trading day after your request.
6. Can my contract be changed by Casheezi?
We don’t change contracts after they have been agreed and signed by both parties, unless both parties agree to the changes or it is required by legislation. What you see is what you get.
7. Will I be told before Casheezi makes a change to the contract?
Given that we do not change contracts without your agreement of course you will. In any case you would be consulted and would need to agree to any change.
8. What can I do if I think that my contract is unjust?
Talk to us first. If we can’t sort out a suitable arrangement to address your issues you can contact COSL.
9. What if I can’t make a repayment?
Contact us as soon as you know you can’t make the repayment(s). We’ll try to agree a suitable alternative plan with you by deferring your repayment(s), or reducing the amount of each payment and extending the term of the contract. Remember, we’re here to help.
10. What if we can’t agree on a suitable alternative plan for repayment?
If you can’t agree a suitable alternative plan with Casheezi you can contact COSL or seek advice from your solicitor or a financial counsellor.
11. Can Casheezi take action against me?
If you are in default under your contract and we have not agreed a suitable alternative plan with you, Casheezi may take action as described in the contract in accordance with the law. We cannot, and won’t, unduly harass or threaten you for repayments. If you think you are being unduly harassed or threatened, you can contact the government regulatory body, or seek independent legal advice.
12. What are my other rights and obligations?
The law gives both you and Casheezi rights and obligations. If you have any concerns not covered here or in the loan contract you should seek legal advice and/or refer to the relevant legislation.
